Do you struggle with getting image sites right in terms of:

pixel dimensions
file size and type

for all the different images on all the different social media sites you use?

How to mat, frame and hang your art

I've created a new section on this website devoted to how to frame and hang art.

It provides a home for information, advice and tips and techniques - and links to more of the same - about different aspects of matting, framing and hanging artwork - including:

frames, framers and framing
how to mount a picture,
how to hang a picture,
framing for open exhibitions, art competitions, gallery exhibitions and commissions and
storing framed artwork.

All of these will be expanded over time - and some will get separate sub-pages as this section of the website is further developed.

To date it has two sub-pages:

Framing Videos - covering how to cut a mount and various tips to do with matting, framing and fixing hardware
Framing for open exhibitions and art competitions

Images stacked on the receiving day of an open exhibition
