I've set up a page about Selling Art from Home.

Here's what it covers at present, what will be developed in future and how you can help to share good advice for artists like yourself.

Insurance and Taxes - why you MUST think about the implications for insurance for third parties and how to avoid invalidating your existing insurance cover for your home. Plus what making part of your home non-domestic does in relation to taxation.

UPDATE: Alternative Options for Exhibitions

Artists have been using Pop Up Spaces for some years to hold exhibitions of their art and/or run art galleries in unused commercial spaces that are available for short periods.

However what you need to do and how you get a pop up space is still a mystery to many artists.

I've expanded the Alternative Options for Exhibitions page devoted to different places to exhibit to include a NEW section on The Pop Up Show / Art Gallery

This summarises why artists use them and what you need to know and get to develop a pop up space for art.
