Do you know the difference between different types of Hanging Hardware? Are you using the right type of hanging hardware for the size and weight of your artwork? Below is a picture of the stock of hanging hardware carried by Green & Stone who I visited last week at their new shop in the Fulham Road. I remembered they have this brilliant board which indicates the type of hardware they stock and the different sizes (and associated prices). One rarely sees anything like this (except in excellent hardware stores) and I asked if I could take a picture of it for the "how to hang a picture" page on this website. You can see how the hanging hardware gets progressively larger and more robust as it increases in size for larger / heavier artwork. It's always a good idea to get the experts to recommend the best size of hanging hardware for the size and weight of your picture If you right click it, it'll come up bigger than you can see below. GREEN AND STONE: You can find them at their new store: 251 – 253 Fulham Road, London, SW3 6HY The website is https://greenandstone.com The contact page details list different ways of contacting them and has a map to show where they are located. They do not list their hanging hardware on their website so you'd probably need to pay them a visit - but they do do mail order and if you know what you need they may be able to help. If you have a store which is also really helpful in providing hanging hardware please let me know and I'll add them to the page. READ MORE on How to Hang a Picture
